Meet Our Team
Namgay Dendup (Founder)
Bhutan Carbon Neutral Travels is led by Mr. Namgay Dendup, a Sustainable Development Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in forestry, wildlife, eco-development, ecotourism and community-based tourism. Much of his career was focused on community-based tourism, homestays, trekking routes, nature-based experiences and rural livelihood initiatives. His foundation in forestry, wildlife conservation and eco-development is complemented by professional training in hospitality, business management and marketing, providing strong grounding for responsible tourism and carbon-neutral travel. Today, he brings together conservation, community and business perspectives to curate Bhutan journeys that are authentic, refined and environmentally responsible. He loves birdwatching.
Pema Rabgay Dendup (Finance)
After completing his BBA from St. Joseph’s College, Darjeeling, in 2018**, he joined the company as Assistant Manager, supporting accounts, tour bookings and customer service. He also has a passion for cooking, and guests especially enjoy the dishes he prepares.
Dechen Chedon (Communication)
After completing her Bachelor’s in Mass Media and Journalism from Parul University, Gujarat, in 2019, she joined the company to manage media, IT and digital communications. She also enjoys photography and travel blogging, bringing a creative touch to the company’s storytelling.
Jigmeth Dorji (Reservation)
A graduate in Hospitality and Marketing from the Swiss Institute of Management and Hospitality, Zurich, Jigme serves as Logistics Manager. He manages tour bookings, hotel reservations, transport arrangements and overall travel logistics, ensuring smooth coordination throughout each journey. Outside work, he enjoys playing music.
